bayside_supra
Hey everyone Can anyone recommend a place for arch rolling that does a good job for reasonable money, preferably within 10 miles or so of North London... Thanks
RobUK
Don't bother, just cut the arches..... I went down the roll root and quickly discovered its a waste of time....

Pretty handy on a grinder but knowing my luck id slip and cut a lovely groove in the wing lol
Al Massey
If you're going to roll them Try arch enemy
bayside_supra
Doesn't cutting them risk rust? Why is rolling a waste of time?
RobUK
Just seal them when finished... Rolling can split the paint and they (arch enemy) disclaim the life out of the work.... If your considering rolling go check your arches for rust and/or filler.... If you have either then your best just cutting them, takes about 30mins and paint is unaffected
RobUK
Haha yeah I might just do it. Pretty handy on a grinder but knowing my luck id slip and cut a lovely groove in the wing lol Use the grinder like a sander and you'll be ok..... I used a DA mini sander (air tool) to start and then swapped to 4" grinder once it got to the welds.... Just took a bit off and then tested... Took about 7/8mm off
bayside_supra
Interesting. I'll test fit my new wheels before anything as they will hopefully be ok. Not sure I want to do rolling or cutting now lol
RobUK
What wheels are you fitting?
bayside_supra
HREs 19" and the rears are 11" wide. Apparently they do fit without modification needed but just thinking ahead
RobUK
Really? 11" wide..... What tyre size?

bayside_supra
After going to a wheel place they are not quite 11" wide they just have too big tyres on them. What's the best way to determine the best tyre size?
