Wideband sensor location

Can anyone confirm the correct place to have a wideband sensor installed on my exhaust

Currently BPU with 1st and 2nd decats

Heard mixed stories regarding how far away from turbos, not sure whether to install in 2nd pipe or 1st

Its an AEM UEGO if that makes any difference

Here's the instructions for the Stack Wideband/AFR gauge I've just fitted.

It clearly says;

Turbocharged applications should have sensor installed 4-5" after turbo on the down pipe

So mine is fitted to my first decat pipe. :)

I always fit wide bands near the turbo outlet, they react faster there. Never had issues with Bosch sensors, some installs have had them within less than 4 inches. I have seen manufacturers test engines with wide bands within a couple of inches of each head port, where EGT's will be almost as high as those in the cylinders. After a turbo things are a lot cooler.
