gordy.r
When I was in my local Mr T picking up my service items I noticed they were pushing an engine flush solution on the sales counter. I used to use these when I got my Alfa serviced as it was a diseasel doing high mileage, but what's the opinions of these on the Supra on are there any recommendations from anyone that does use them? Swampy442
I personally stay well away from things like that, think of the little bits of carbon and crap it loosens off and sends whizzing round your oil system, right into your delicate turbo bearings. Ask the oil man about this. When I picked up my this year, he said dump old oil, then use a cheap oil for a few day's, then drop it,then put your good oil in. np89
AFAIK, Toyota flush all their engines from new but I think its one of those things thats always done or never done, i.e if the car has not had it done since Toyota were looking after it then don't start doing it otherwise you'll fall foul of the same nasty effects as described above.
