If I want to test if the motor is still good, is there a simple way to hook it up to the battery? I've found some wiring diagrams but have no idea how to read them Any help would be much appreciated! Just put 12v to the terminals on the motor with some wire direct to the battery. One of the postive terminals will make it run in reverse. One will make it run forward.
