MattP Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) Going to take the intake heat shields etc off over winter and clean them up hopefully a nice stock looking silver finish has anybody used any they would recommend ? Tricky-Ricky Posted December 11, 2013 Share Posted December 11, 2013 Kind of depends what parts, dedicated exhaust parts,heat shields will need a VHT paint, but for everything else including cam covers, intake, engine block and even the cold side of the turbo can be painted with 2K in any colour you can think of, it will hold up fine. Dnk Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) I stripped the t/b down this far then masked it up and very carefully media blasted it, then de masked it and got it 100% clean, then re masked it up prior to painting it.
