safcdixon
Theres quite a few kits on ebay too replace all the small turbo side pipes with silicone maybe worth a shot to put your mind at rest, either that or whack a single on there
supra steveo
am i right in saying that the bit nearest the electrical clip is the pip that goes to the actuator ? and the bit right on the end conects to the pipe that comes from the top of the engine ? Scott
Decent tape will be fine for the induction pipe until you get a replacement. The BOV pipe will need replaced though, depending on the end tape might not be strong enough (better than a split though. Has to be reasonably strong tape though, no pound land rubbish

Scott
might just attack it with electrician tape .................................................... s4!t loads of it lol If it's 2" wide then that'll be fine. None of the skinny stuff will be any good.
supra steveo
actually just thinking i think the wide stuff wont be any good coz it will stick right out , am thinking electrician tape and over lap half the width at a time time , what i used to do playing ice hockey on the blade of my stick

For the pic I can see above I would use 2" tape and go from before the flexi right over to after it using the 50% overlapping method. I would also try to do it in situ to make sure the flexi didn't move too much, as trying to fit it while rigid would be hard.
LOGIE
Could you not possibly glue a rubber patch (from a bicycle tyre perhaps) on the INSIDE of the pipe? then as you suggested tape the outside. Use LOTS of glue as you don't want it coming off
