TT Engine ok or not ok to install.

Honestly fella, go and get your engine. If keron wants to do the work for you then jump at the chance, I would. If they quoted you 9k to do a rebuild I really wouldn't trust them with anything else they say.

 

Believe me i would do it now, but i have not the money yet, i already arranged with keron anyway that we would go ahead with it in august, after 2 months working with admiral i will have the cash, atleast i can use them to keep the engine undercover for the time being as i dont have room at my house.

Endoscope down the bores, if it was damp stored with the intake and exhaust unsealed it could well have bore corrosion, or seized valves. Crank and bearings should be fine unless it's been used as a boat anchor :)

 

I will leave it to keron to sort it out since he says and you people says he can, then come september when all the work is done i will be enjoyed my near 400bhp TT supra :-)
