JK90 Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 i have owned a civic type r for the past 2 year with mods declared and now i am buying a bpu supra and have been onto my insurance (elephant) to change cars on policy, they will insure for bodykit exhaust, air filters, suspension but as soon as i mentioned intercooler they wouldnt insure me? any body know any good insurers? the car has a intercooler so i need it on my policy. I am 22 with 3 years no claims and the overall price is just over £1300. they asked about intercooler if it was modified or enlarged to be honest i dont know i said modified and they wouldnt insure me. Ok thats fair enough then, i was wrong on that one, Sky give me a good quote the other day (im still shopping about so havnt swicthed from flux. yet!), i wasnt trying too put the guy off just thought thats what the policy requirement was, my bad! Speak to Jason, he was really helpful and got me a great deal on my JSpec Supra TT, where most wouldn't quote due to postcode. I am also young-ish, 29 and used to have an import EK9 Civic Type R and then an RX8, so this was my first Supra.
