Yes i was thinking the same after looking at yours a few times and comparing them to ones i've recently done, do

they need to be cut shorter ?

the two i've recently done haven't been cut down and i think this is half the problem you have.

They are both using the Greddy plenum, ones been welded on and the other bolted together

With the way he has made the plenum yeah they need to be shorter as it dosnt have much clearance on the strut tower!

But he didnt need to make the plenum as wide as he has, if he made it a few inches thinner then they wouldn't of been any need to make the runners shorter.

So it's just down to the way it's been made mate :)

I'm sure if you get a thick gasket for it and do it up super tight It will be ok?

All you doing then is overtightening the threads in the head and risking stripping them, then its head off

and get them helicoiled.

Fix it properly or you simply cause more grief for yourself further down the rd

My guess is, the runners havnt been cut evenly and when it's been welded its pulled it like that. Is it the end runners that's bent or is there a high spot in the middle.

Booooom! Got it bang on mate! It's the middle that has the high spot.

It's just it's resting on the right in the picture making it look like the left is off but it's both sides :)

Yeah I want it fixed right! It's not worth the hasstle! But I would like a thicker gasket if one is available pence it's refaced just to be sure.

I see, so the plenum needs reducing in size and a new set of runners welding or bolting

to it if you want a proper fix

Well yeah I sopose, or if I needed new runners I would think it would be fine cutting them shorter aslong as they clamp the flange down flat good and true. Well I say that but what do I know lol

To keep the runners from warping the way to go is reduce the plenum and leave the flanges

and web strengthening alone.

Wouldn't be to hard to modify the plenum :)
