black_widow87
Hi guys, Has anybody on here had any experience with these tyres on the rear of there car? Also would anybody recommend using them on a single with approx 500bhp? Cheers Jake
dan294
Think they're more of a passenger car tyre to be honest. A mate has them fitted to his 1.6 automatic Astra. Think the Potenza tyre is the sportier one. Do the Turanza actually come in a larger size?
black_widow87
I have read that they perform well in wet and dry but not sure if they would perform with my power. Im looking at a pair of 255's which is same size as stock rears.

Josh42
I had these fitted to my 1.6 astra, they stuck really well but wouldn't say they were suitable for the Sup.

dangerous brain
Potenza's grip well but wear out fast. Toyo T1R's are a bit better grip but wear out just as quick. Falken 452's don't grip quite as well in the dry but better in the wet than the previous two. The best all rounder so far I've ever used is the goodyear eagle F1 GSD3 but thats discontinued. Pirrelli P Zero Nero's are by far the stickiest tyres I've ever used but I managed to wear a set out on the back in one 20 minute track session. I am fairly sure there is a tyre review page on the piston heads forum if that's any use to you?
sideexitsupra
There was a tyre review in Evo mag last / this month that rated the Conti sport contact 3 as the best of current tyres.
