So i have removed the engine and trans today

and then started to work on the sub-tunnel

i got my engine back from the machine shop, it had been honed, decked the head surface, got new rings, and bearings, soon ready to assembly 20111222450.jpg

the clutch pedal and the clutch master cylinder.

So i have almost done with the interior, will post pictures soon, started to work on the front suspension and brake setup.

On the engine side i will go with:

- 1000 ccm RC INJ

- Clevite 77 bearings

- stock 1jz HG

- ARP HSK

- RMS ex. header

- RMS custom turbo

- 60mm WG

- stock 1JZ head

- stock N/A block, with new rings, stock rod, and piston

- oil filter re-location kit

- 19 row oil cooler

- Mishimoto termostat

- KOYO rad

- spec stage 5 clutch with uprated pressure plate

- AEM stealth fuel pump

 

i think that's all, i will start the engine assembly tomorrow.

Here are some pics from the last few days:

20111228473.jpg the dash was broked, so i had to change it...

20111229487.jpg changed the rear plastic pieces that holds the trunk in place... it took about 1.5 half our to get the right side out

the interior looks like this as i have painted the dash panels around the radio, shifter, around the meters, and on the right side now they are look likes new :D 20111229493.jpg

yeah 10.59 FTW ;) Race fuel with well tuned ecu would do the job I think ;)

 

Yeah it should, also with the e85 :), but i think now i will keep on the safe side, and go with the ge pistons.

I would like to use the car as a daily drive.

But i will do it next winter if i have the money for it :D

Sorry i've been busy a bit, i will make an adapter to my oil filter re-location kit, where it goes out from the engine, to the oil cooler.

I will show you pics as i start to work on it.

I have made a few thinks with the car now, i will post it when will have time

Hi,

i did not stop the build up, just get a bit busy. The season starts, we had a tuning show.

But the the car still builds.
