On Saturday some twat drove their car in to the girlfriends KA in Tesco's car par and have pushed the panel in and left marks all down it No the panel that's pushed in should be ok to get to from the inside and pop back out again, but does any one know what i can use to get the marks or the paint work ??? Its not cracked the paint just seems to have left the others cars bumper marks on it, some peeled of but most hasn't, any thing I can attack it with so I dont kill the paint, but I really dont want to have to fork out to get it down to the garage !!! TRD3000GT Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Quick bodyshop tip... Get a small piece of scotch brite sponge witha bucket of warm water and soap. Scrub the part of the car with the marks on it, This WILL leave a dull patch on the laquer which can be polished out with compound/t-cut and then finished off with real polish autoglym or meguairs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rik Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 There are differant compounds ot T-cut. You will probably need the courser one to remove paint deposits, plus a bit of elbow grease. SUPRALOOPY Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 g3 is a good compound but you will have to finish it with a bit more than wax i suggest 3m finesse it but that is still hard work then a good wax and be careful of going through.......is it solid colour or metalic?????
