Hassan
Hi everyone I just fitted my new Fluidyne Rad and after filling it up with engine coolant, i went for a small drive and the oem temp needle just went all the way into the red. I drove the car and it went down. And every time i was stopping it would rise again. Any thing ive missed or any suggestion why it would do that. Plus the ecu light is now on aswell. I also fitted a new intercooler at the same time.
Scott
Sounds like an airlock bud. The Sup can be a bit of a pain to bleed. Have you checked the coolant level?
mark newman
it will just need bleeding .
themodifiedkid
I could be wrong but sounds like an airlock to me mate. Try bleeding it again, making sure the heaters are on full. EDIT: Too late, beeen beaten to it:tongue:
Gaz6002
Sounds like an air lock in the system, but driving your car when it's over-heating may well have done more serious damage. Always best to stop straight away.

Scott
I think it might be an airlock
Hassan
Oh ok i will try that. Thankz alot people. What about the ECU light? Is that ment to come on after these mods?
Scott
No, that could be down to a lot of things. First thing I would check would be the coolant temp sensor. It's in the water elbow.
Hassan
Just sorted the airlock problem. Temps look fine now. Thankz for the help everyone. And as far as the ecu light goes, I also removed the A/C could that effect the light?
