Interesting that everyone hates the HKS mushrooms, i have an ITG on my other car and that seems ok so might be worth a look into?

They are hated them pretty much purely for the poor filtration, it's just not worth the (arguable) few bhp power gain in comparison to the engine/turbo damage you can accumilate.

From all accounts the stock airbox holds thing back very little if at all on stock/BPU cars.

Lovely looking car buddy

Agree with everyone else with the hks, they are pants, the apexi provides the best filtration if you're keen on a induction filter but you'd be better off just uprating the panel filter IMO.

Also, if your side mount is in good condition and uprated like you say, keep it :), don't go putting a front mount on it, an A1 condition side mount will provide far better cooling than a front mount will, because of the way it has been designed by toyota.

having looked today it looks like a good 3-4 inch thick core on the side mount so thats a win :)

today i tidied up the HID's hiding all the wiring and ballasts under the headlights, nice to know they remove so easily, and the same with the ProfecB solonoid etc as it was poor;y fitted before hand so bolted it up to the chasis and hid it all out of the way :)

need to order some fresh clay now and give her a propper deep outside clean to match the inside :)
