Does anyone have a diagram of sensor location/names on the engine block? where i bought a bare block i obviously have no sensors, help is much appreciated. Awisto Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 On the actual block itself, I don't think there's many at all from memory. 2 X knock sensors - intake side, cylinders 2 & 5 IIRC 1 X crank position sensor - left hand side at the bottom (tucked below the alternator if that was on) 1 X oil pressure - can't remember right now Nothing else comes to mind right now. Awisto Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 You can see the knock sensors here. 2 head stud up on the right, directly on the right is a sensor with a plug and wire coming from it, that's number 1, then go to the 5th stud up one the right, and on the right you can just see the 2nd knock sensor (pic is an aristo, but same locations) http://gallery.me.com/garage2you/100084/IMG_0604/web.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
