Samurai 20V
Well, Michilen, Pirelli and Dunlop is proving difficult to find in Japan. Has anybody any experience with the Bridgestone RE11S?
Chris Wilson
I don't think the RE11S has DOT approval in the UK, so it's not sold here, but I may be wrong.... The Dunlops are made in Japan, so should be available. The RE11S is a far more road orientated tyre than the R888, or the Pirelli Trofeo, or the Pilot Sport Cup, all of which are track focused. It would fade fast on a track with the weight of the MKIV.

Chris Wilson
So Michelin have stopped 17 inch production, and the Trofeo has never even started to be offered in 17 inch. How fashion dictates. Apologies, seems only yesterday Michelin were offering 16 inch Cup tyres as well.
Samurai 20V
thanks Chris and Homer. I will see if I can source the Dunlop Dz03, if not looks like R888 it has to be. The RE11 I will probably use on my every day tyre and wheel setup since it is competitively priced in Japan.. Thanks.
