peter richards Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 my van has started to run a bit rough ,so thinking it might be a glow plug or two , they havnt been changed for a few years , now i find they are an absolute pig to get to and im looking at a mechanic taking 2-3 hours just to change the plugs at god knows how much . as the thread title says its not like the germans to make a mistake like that:( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think they look quite quirky myself, but know nowt about them. Aye, it's been done, but it's an expensive route (£5000+) and there is no engine powered reverse gear! The engines are 699 cc 3 cylinders and have 6 spark plugs. Mines is the standard 82 bhp, but it is relatively easy to change intercooler pipes and remap it to a reliable 115 bhp.
