If you are looking for a fairly nice route you could go from Dorking to Camber Sands via Brighton. Nice cafe in Camber Sands and a nice sandy beach too. Parking can be lively in the summer months but sadly the summer has passed us by.

I can post up a route if you need one.

Cheers JB, could be useful

hefty run at around 95 miles though. Dorking to Eastborne is shorter but I dont know Eastborne at all...

I will try to make this wherever it ends up.

Would be good for you to come along. Although I know Sundays aren't too convenient for you.

i know Eastbourne pretty well. If you want scenic i can think of a really nice route over the south downs and up and over beachy head.

edit; but not literally

Can you get a route up Scott? So I can get an idea of mileage etc?

Here is the route I would suggest if you want to end up in Eastbourne. Clicky Route A

This route runs right over the South Downs. There are lots of places to stop along the way car parks and pubs (for a photo opportunity) with some nice views from the road. I chose the Harbour as a finishing point, there're a few places to grab something to eat over looking the marina and bags of parking.

Or you could bypass Brighton completely and carry on along the motorway and then cut across to get on the Downs. Clicky Route B

Just to add another option, the souped up Sunday breakfast club is on the 3rd October. Could meet up there show off the cars and then head off for a drive and some lunch. I know we have been there already but its an easy meet spot and we could leave from there any time.
