split house here (mrs is american but always supported the uk in the world cup anyway) she doesnt know who to support since she lives in the uk now so she is upstairs doing something else rather than watching it because she doesnt know who to support. lol

think i must be the only guy here that would rather watch the rugby just now instead! im not that interested in the world cup to be honest, not even much of a football fan :innocent: prefer rugby, lol.

Particularly enjoyed how ITV HD decided to break and go to an ad break, then a black screen then switch to standard definition only to return revealing Gerrard running away celebrating. Top work there, fellas!

That didn't happen here. Watched the whole build up on ITV1 HD.

Were you watching on Sky?

 

Happened to my mate in London, a friend also in Wales and his friend in Essex. Bizarre... we're all using Sky though and it's still in SD now.

 

Perhaps it's Sky/satellite issues rather than Freeview.

Ahh, no we're watching it on cable bud. It's in HD just now as far as I can tell.

England looking VERY sloppy. Poor passing, decision-making and defensive lapses mean there is a fair bit of work left to do... but sublime work by Heskey & Gerrard. When England are attacking, they look the goods!
