Rob
Manual labour's a bitch int'it? I dug a similar sized one over several weeks of after-work evenings, then I go and watch some documentary about canals that tells me the average navvy would dig over twice what I dug in total, in a day! Nice work though, especially having the filters easily accessible yet still hidden visually.
gavin.starr
Cheers for the coments guys. The filters were the biggest part of my pond, in the way of building everything around suiting them. I ended up making my own utilising one i already had, there was no way i was going to be paying over £500 for a deacent filter so i bought some good quality £14 tubs and some pipe work and went to work. Hey presto large filter capacity for around the £80 mark.
