can you spray rubber

as im going for the matt black look was wondering if i could spray the rubber couplings on the intercooler pipe.

Wet and dry it, get it dull, use some plastic holts primer, and some matt black paint, satin will be more stock looking:) should do the trick, most people ive seen who paint their lips use normal primer, which drys much harder than plastic primer which must have flex added to it, as rubber bends a bit and wont crack and let the paint go compared to normal primer:) hth

yer im goin with nic on the is one, rubber can be sprayed but as its flexiable i see it just flaking and looking patchy and naff over a matter of weeks so look into buying some

problem there is ive been looking for black ones but could only find the reducers in black.

be good later but for the time going with rubber not silicone as that would take a big chunk of what money i have to play with.

funny you say that was thinking of carbon fibre bandage and wrapping the pipe and connectors in that.
