Hey j80leo I dont suppose you could tell me the exact width end to end of that bar?

 

Of the bar i had made? If you do mean that bar you would be best to fit it in postion first and then make it up as it might be a bit different, but if you do need it i can get the size;)

well fitted it how its meant to go. no chance the side brackets are going in without removing the rear seat belts, i like what j80leo has done by swapping the bars but im concerned if i have people in the back they will whack there necks lol. im going to leave it without the brackets for a while till i get a better idea of what i need to fabricate to get it sorted. i think it will be fine without the side brackets anyway for a bit.

if that bar is in the way of people (in that it may cause them to hit their heads) I will be grinding off the mounts and moving them further down into the hatch area to avoid this- j80leo can you give me a rough idea of the length of that bar so i can buy a piece of ali bar to suit please?
