hello new here looking at getting a supra n/a :) advice needed please...

hey people

firstly atm i drive a toyota starlet GT turbo ep82 which i love but i have wanted a supra for a very long time now and thinking it is time to move on... i am looking at getting a supra n/a would love a turbo but my insurance would kill me as i only have 1 years no claims and only been driving for 2 years. any ways i would be happy with a supra n/a. so i am ovb new with the supras can any one tell me what to look out when buying one?? good points & bad points?? also what BHP are they kicking out of the 3 litre engine stock?? handling any good? are they really thirsty on petrol is my main concern?? i have heard it could be slugish to my GT atm what is runing 170bhp but i think it will be alot quicker.

pay £10 membership then you can dive in all the forums information, welcome to the club you will love the n/a. it would seem sluggish as its a huge car but would eat your gt as you dont realise how quick your actually going.

Na will be like driving a tank compared to that, id say the gt would be much faster.

Your startlet will probably be faster, but you will look neat in a Supra whatever the cost.

Supra pushes out 220bhp.

the only thing that i have drove is my mums astra 1.9 and they seem to be simular size to the supra and that had some power behind it so i am imaging the supra having double that.

are parts easy to come across for these and at a decent price??

I'd say mines pretty comparable to my audi tt 3.2. Doesn't feel fast, but the smoothness and ease they can take corners are suprising.

 

Parts are pretty easy to come by, and at a reasonable price.
