Gloss, solid, satin, flip, candy?

 

Metalic is the base of most car paints though, flips and candy are metalics, as is pearl... arent they?

 

Don't know about Gloss or satin... aren't they wood stains?

 

Just metalic is a rather sweeping statement, most cars that roll off the production line nowadays are finished in metalic. Anything in metalic could be any colour in the rainbow?

 

Just the way he writes it, it seems like he's saying metalic colours are rare, whereas metalics are the staple diet of the car colour industry.
