Scott
I am sure a pretty people have asked for it to be embedded. On my normal user account at work I can view YouTube video's if its embedded. Our network team have blocked any site access to YouTube though that's if it is used as a web address none of our users can access it. Though people who have used a forum have noticed that they can use it through a forum if it is embedded. Never heard of that before. Thats a pretty crappy firewall if you can only block addresses and not content With regards to the embedding I have asked in the past for pictures to be embedded because I can't view them from the likes of photobucket etc. But those are embedded onto this site using the forum servers space and linking address. We have Bluecoat sitting between us and the outside world. It can be changed to stop embedded links from working like YouTube, but it saves me from starting up my Test lab machine just to see a clip from YouTube With regards to the embedding pictures it shouldn't really take up any forum server space as they should all be hosted on the picture site like you mentioned. I think just embedding makes it look a lot more neater, but the only issue being if the picture is removed off the hosting site then you have no image! Edited December 29, 2009 by Abz Edited regarding embedded images. (see edit history)

I mean embedding the picture into the thread using the attachments I can't view from photobucket or the likes regardless of whether tags or actual links are used. They have to be attached to the site for them to work for me.

I thought there was limits on adding pictures on the forum, in the sense it needs to be pretty small in resolution and even more smaller in file size! Talk about a thread jack! I blame you Scott! Scott
I blame you Scott! You sound like my Wife. Yeah the work is pretty strict. I always attach pictures to the site. If you have ever seen anything I have added for sale or other it has been attached. I've never had a problem with the restricitons.

gaijin
If times mean anything in the real world. The LF-A did a 7'-22sec,sometime earlier this year around the 'Ring, wasn't a secret.Whether it was a 'straight' production car ,i don't know.Still think its overpriced;not that it will ever be a worry to my lowly bank balance. T2 MSW
Not really a fair comparison, The GTR was on a different Lap as it was a clear track. The LFA had loads of trafic some of which looked like it seriously got in the way. And whats with it gettting over taken by the porsche?? That was the tuned Nissan 350/370 getting overtaken by the Porker.
