Amanda Knox - did she do it?

In Italy, a unanimous vote is not needed for conviction, only a majority of 5 out of 8 jurors is required so the outcome can potentially be very very close.

Simple majority verdicts are the norm in Scots Law, Scottish criminal trials have 15 jurors and as long as 8 vote guilty justice is done.

There is only controversy in this trial because the victim and perpetrator are English and American respectively. Had they been both Italian, no one would have heard of this case outside Italy.

My view is that why all three have been convicted of murder when it is obvious only one of them could have held the knife?

The evidence was contaminated but still they get convicted. A strange one in my opinion. All three might have been there but only one of them delivererd the fatal knife wound.

You don't have to inflict a fatal wound to be found guilty of murder, the involvement whatever it was can be enough.
