nevins Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 What a great day, I have been in agony all last night and today only to be told by a doctor that all i can do is sit in pain. Started out by my dad breaking down in a nasty position on a slip road of the m4. So I turned up and decided to push in his galaxy out of the position he was in. This was due to it being dark and on a blind corner with no lighting and well known for accidents, and due to having no power even more dangerous as there was no chance of putting hazards on. All was ok until when pushing I slipped. I have now found out I have ripped the muscles in my left hand side from my hip all the way to my neck. So while trying to prevent an accident I have done myself in all because the police are a waste of time. I rang them to tell them of the situation and they seemed panicked when they found out where the vehicle was. Even after this they did not even send a vehicle out that was to put cones out and help prevent an accident. 3 traffic cars drove past and didn't even stop , so what exactly does our taxes pay for and they would be the 1st complaining if there had been an accident, even the AA turned up and recovered the vehicle and we still do not know if the police ever came along. They should have sent traffic Wombles anyway, the Police aren't obliged to help in that situation because the highways agency should do it.
