ive been with sky at £10 a month for a few years and i cant complain, much better than BT and we cant get cable so its as good as i can get

on the unlimited downloads companies, just check the fair usage policy, also be aware of traffic shaping on alot of thses servers too, nothing like getting unlimitied downloads and only get 2k a sec download throught out he peak times,

admittedly this is probably only of use to those of us that are trying to download the entire net every month

I get chopped down during peak times if i download more than 2gb in 5 hrs. I do that quite often but it only drops me to 40% or something, certainly nowhere near 2kb/s

 

FWIW the 50mb connection that virgin offer don't cap at all.

I find o2 extremely good for £7.38 a month, unlimited* use, up to 8mb, i get 4mb constant which is the max for my line, good upload speeds too(0.8mb/s)

 

O2 £9.79 per month, upto 20mb

 

On average I achieve 14 mb.

 

(This is a discount as I'm an O2 mobile customer)

 

£14.68 pm upto 20mb for non O2 customers
