suprasam77
i've had the supra for a while, but just thought id ask if this the the same for all NA's? just a boring sunday night! No top gear! so mine is fairly gutless below 4.5krpm but theres a flat spot when it hits 4.5k then it picks up again! any way to smooth this out or is there something wrong with mine? lol

ilicos
The power-band on the n/a comes in after 4.5-5k so your car is fine.

dr_blackman
Yeah the series are far too short nowa days Mine use to be a s reg 1998 bud Like others have said it does kick in about the 4k mark harder but I wouldn't say it was flat before. Mine was an auto too

steady_dave
Have you by any chance got a double de-cat? Heard a lot of people saying that they get a flat spot before the power kicks in with a double de-cat.
martini
First decat here and I get a bit of an extra grunt at about 4.5k too.
Guest bennyessex
Ive got no cat pipes in mine, I have take them off one at time to see what effect it has.... Its very loud now, you have to use more revs to move the thing but it does pull much better from 3k up. Changing the filter seemed to help too
Havard
"coff coff" when its works "coff coff" In fairness it works most of the time, I didn't come in it yesterday as I couldn't be bothered to polish it..... H.
Aero-M
Mine's the same, it's still smooth although there is a noticable difference at 4500.
