grandiaerbest
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-Toyota-Supra_W0QQitemZ150346703434QQcategoryZ18290QQcmdZViewItem I have called the seller about the car and he says everything works. no rust. But he said he brought it from a salvage yard so no service book is with the car. I have agreed a price of 3000pounds. is it too much? What do you guys make of this? Thanks in advance, really appreciate any help
steady_dave
in his Q & A section it says he has been offered £2,400, you might be able to get him down on price a bit. Not sure if it's my eyes or not but are they really 18" alloys, look like 17" to me. Either that or the ride height is very high!
Dave17
Has it had a cambelt done, it's due one now, if not try and get some more off, and also the tax goes at the end of the month, I'd want it retaxed for a year as well. I'm not one for bothering with HPI checks but I would definately run one on this. Edited May 24, 2009 by Dave17 (see edit history)
Ian W
I think I'd be asking someone to go take a look at it for you mate. What the seller says and what is actually the case could be different
colsoop
3k for a non turbo automatic with sketchy history ! Im sure you could do better personally. Have you seen one on the forum at the moment sold by Todd i think.
Supragaz
I agree, think it needs a Hpi check and wouldn't pay more than £2500 for it personally as there are plenty of decent NA's out there. Gaz

Chris Wilson
I'd get another 200 quid off for this "modification" too "whilst they were open i resprayed the inner plastic in high temp matt black and installed a flashing LED in each headlight, when you remove the key from the ignition the led flashes"
Rob
I'd get another 200 quid off for this "modification" too "whilst they were open i resprayed the inner plastic in high temp matt black and installed a flashing LED in each headlight, when you remove the key from the ignition the led flashes" Ah yes, the "Hey potential thieves! If you hadn't already noticed this car...here I am!!!" modification.
little num
no mate wouldnt touch it, £3000 for a non turbo thats been sprayed for some reason seems alot, stick with the forum you will get a better car with better history, wait for the right 1 or you will regret it. Supradan
I wouldnt as it seems a bit sketchy , and its not even that cheap. You should be able to get a good manual for that price if you hang on.
Havard
You could get a manual for that kind of money....!! Where abouts is it? H.
kslb
I paid less than £1500 for a manual NA a while back that is crazy money for a car with a sketchy history, the fact you posted the question shows you have doubts, walk away. A car from a salvage yard that has had a complete respray! A coat of paint can hide a lot!
Kirk
You could get a manual for that kind of money....!! Where abouts is it? H. its on a lovely street bout 5 mins from me filled with our asian friends!
