fessen
Whenever somebodybumps you, as their shook up, you should get them to sign a piece of paper saying it was their fault. This way the insurance company is always in your favour whatever the problem, just a thought. Can you not do it cash in hand? Not sure how old you are, is it worth claiming? Regards ps: sorry to hear also mate

Pig
Find the right bodyshop to do the work and go into there to get some advise. You need to try to claim off his insurance poviding he is not now denying liability. Feel free to PM for advise. Jon
fizzle
accident caused by the lack of his paying attention and driving head on into the side of my car at a junction instead of stopping!! accident sounds so forgiving.. driving with out due care is a better discription!!! Anyway i behaved, we kissed and made up.. heres the pics.. of the car not the kiss!

Pig
No, go to a decent bodyshop and they will help you claim directly off the 3rd partys insurance. You dont pay for the repair and you want to aviod claiming on your own insurance and having the agro of claiming back your excess.
GazB
These people deal with everthing if it's a 'no fault' claim, you do it all by phone even if you need a replacement vehicle while yours is being fixed. http://www.accidentexchange.com/

I would start with Britannia Accident Assist, they are the ones that i rate the highest.

fizzle
update: had my quote through today £1510 for repair, inc new door, seals, membrane etc, fitting, spray and blend... spoke to his insurance and he's admitted full liabilty, so are happy to proceed. just waiting for call back, need to give em quotes or whatever... thinking about using the opportunity to get the full respray, (was planning the roof and carbon bonnet spray anyway) thing is that means rather than wait till next year to get the bodykit i want, it will be more cost effective to get it all done now... so gonna have to dig deep and skint myself for a few months, get the kit fitted & blended, and have the full spray, as well as find a door..
