Amir khan Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 does anyone have any advice, Iv been revising for exams and or the past 5 days i havnt been able to get to sleep until about 4/5 in the morning, and just lie in bed from about 1 like a lemon! ozz Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Also, if lying in bed and you can't sleep then don't lie there worrying about it, change your thought patterns to liking the fact you are in bed and relaxed and tell yourself its almost as good as sleep. You will likely relax more which aids sleep process. If thoughts about not sleeping/exams or anything stressful comes into your head then trying writing a story in your head or planning a trip or run through in your head something you enjoy (like banging a smart male/female you know). Im in and out in 50mins. If your feeling tired then try having a small meal before bed. This will in turn release sleep endorphines as when all males eat they wana sleep after it. One day I'll win the lottery, get a divorce, find a decent hard-working boyfriend for my daughter, meet all the schedules at work, get my testicular cyst drained and mow the lawn. I havnt had a cig for about a week now and after doing a google search apparently the lack of nicotine can cause insomnia! Now how many of you knew that?
