Looky looky, i thought id do some inexpensive power slide testing!

 

Well i tried and this was the outcome;)

I wouldn't say it was power sliding... As power is not really needed in these conditions... Maybe just sliding! :D

Did you learn much about control from this little play about? I'd like to do it at some point just to learn more about what the car will do and the best way (if any) to correct it safely.

I've driven mine quite a bit in the last few days, in the worst weather conditions in many years. This was with traction control turned off, and with 275 Falkens on the rear.

 

I didn't die, I didn't crash, and I didn't even have any hairy moments (apart from when I intended to :innocent:).

 

Now, considering the fact that many Supra owners lock up their car at the first sign of frost, does this make me some kind of driving God?

 

That's a rhetorical question obviously.

we braved it to go out to pick something up from the shop. got there and it was just closing. Drove home pulled into park outside my house, slid sideways into the curb slowly and tried to move about a little but it wouldnt budge and it was stuck... Im not going anywhere for a while :p
