Charlotte Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 So, I went to a recruitment agencies in Leeds today to discuss my CV and get registered. It wasn't in a particularly nice area - it was the tiniest of shops along a parade next to a bookies, on a main road. Anyway, so I walk in and there are three people in there, lady and man and another woman sitting at the desk. She looked at me and smiled and I really recognised her. I sat down and started to fill out the forms and she started talking and I twigged, it was Kristina from the Apprentice, she was a runner up in 2007. She sounded like a right PITA, blabbing on about how she'd been offered a slot on dragons den and that people come up to her all the time for photographs. I think she must have been doing some kind of business deal with the owner of the agency - but when I first walked in I was thinking OMG if the runner up in the apprentice is trying to get work, what chance have I got?! No, that was the year before I think. Edit:- Actually I think that was the Katie woman because she said she couldn't commit her time to the job with two young children. I know...that's why I moved. I was letting the side down. Seriously though, hopefully a new course later in the year, a change and have friends and stuff here.
