The Raven Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Ok i have the Supra standard fit amp. My old n/a had the sub in the boot which this one does not. Is there anyway to link a new sub into the old amp? I dont have time to do my boot install at the mo and would like a thump till i have time to rip it all out and start again. adnanshah247 Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 do not connect an after market sub to the factory amp! you will burn the amp out along with the wiring along with the speakers wiring along with the speakers. if your putting an after market sub you need an after market amp which will power it, if you under power subs they sound rubbish. adnanshah247 Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 im very involved in ICE, make sure you get the right amp for the sub, decent wiring kit and make sure it is all fused or you might wake up one moring with a burnt out shell.
