lui
I am with them as well with a fully declared single set up and loads of supporting mods with 577bhp and am £550. I think anything less than £1 per bhp is a bargain. Nice one good news there I am with sky & my renewal is up in Feb so I'm going to give it a try to get classic fully declared & hopefully save a few bob

colsoop
You would probably get the same discount by just limiting the mileage to the same as a supposed classic policy. I know i did with my old car.
Havard
Mine has been insured with AON as a classic for the last two years...... My car is a 96 and it costs me £405.00..!! What's the fuss all about.... H.
Aero-M
Mine is £400 a year fully comp with A plan, Everywhere else where more expensive, at least double, even sky and adrian flux. Only do a couple of thousand in mine, so would also be interested in classic if available.
RobSheffield
Are folks aware that prices vary according to the person?
AndrewOW
Are folks aware that prices vary according to the person? Yes, I am aware, and I'm sure by limiting the mileage it won't really make much difference to the premium, but I'm surprised that Sky haven't mentioned this possibility at all. Or have they?! dr_blackman
Will try this classic insurance out on the MR2 in Jan. I'm with sky so hope they can shead some light here? I will only cover mine for 5k this year I think as its currently on 15K a year mileage policy and i've done about 3k so far lol
NatsupraTT
Yes and the area and occupation. Mines not too bad tho for a TT as i have no no claims bonus as its used on my Subaru. Plus i live out in the sticks in Devon and where i lived before in bham it was more than double than here

Or have they?! Made a fairly major difference to my premium by limiting mileage. Which is more of a risk a car doing 12k a year or one doing 3k ? NatsupraTT
iv put mine down at 8k miles but when i changed it several time to see the difference it didnt really make much different
JamesG
I had a 200SX on classic insurance, using Heritage. I was told the policy wouldn't accrue NCB, so it's worth checking that before taking out the policy.
AndrewOW
Made a fairly major difference to my premium by limiting mileage. Which is more of a risk a car doing 12k a year or one doing 3k ? I think I do around 5-6k miles a year, so I don't know if I would qualify, but if it makes a difference, then its worth an enquiry, I suppose.
