Your joking right? :p

They are horrible seats comfort wise, the are designed to keep Japanese people firmly located in said seat whilst drifting.

If you can get 2 x Bride GIAS seats (like the ones you posted) with subframes for £1400 I'll eat my hat! The cost price in Japan now for 2 seats without frames is £2250, so nearly £3k by the time you get them here with subframes and taxes.

Gaz.

Totally agree, comfort=0 specially if you are big.

Maybe it's just me then, but I was I thought they were incredibly comfortable.

Anyway regarding the price, nic quoted me less than £1k for the seats plus £90 for the subrames.;)

When though, before the pound dropped 40%? :p

Can you post up a pic of the hat eating for proof please :D

Only when you prove you can get a pair of the seats you posted for less than £1400 ;)

Have a look on Brides site:

http://www.bride-jp.com/products_lm_rec.html

150000Y @ 140 Y/£ = £1070 for 1 seat not including the subframe, or delivery, or VAT or duty or anything else.

Anyone know how they fit for the larger gentleman?

Depends a lot on your rib cage, I am quite a V shape 5'10, 13.5st and pretty solid, and they hit me hard about 2/3 up my ribs on either side, so not going to be everyone choice. So i sold mine a few weeks later. I didnt like the higher seating position either.

I also noticed i couldnt recline them due to width.

Lovely to look at though. :)

i remember on Chris's supra, they wouldn't go back all the way, mine have the carbon back too. Who cares? i didn't buy them to sleep in the car:p I have quite big back and they are quite comfortable. More comfy than any other aftermarket seat i've tried. They definately look awesome.
