Daston
Has this van become the Chav work van of choice? There seems to be a massive group of them around town all kev'ed up with AMG wheels bits of plastic on them and such like. Is this a new craze or have I missed something here. We even went to the harvester the other night and there was a big group of lads having a drink and a meal (thought nothing of it) then out in the carpark there were 15 vans all done up so clearly was a club meet. patrikbrunt
I too spotted said trend whilst in Yeovil... spotted a blue transporter with kit, alloys and some awful rear lights. bar the chav lights I have to admit kinda liking it though.... as far as vans go anyway! Supragal
Yes they have and apparently as far as vans go they actually aren't that good. I was thinking about getting a van, and they are pants compared to the new transit. All the trendy kids and surfer people want them too.
garethr
Is VW the only company which sells already "customized" vans -- the Transporter Sportline?

Shadow Beast
I suppose a lot depends on what you going to use it for, i am currently looking for a new van for my business, have looked at them all now and to be honest the Transit wins hands down, its a proven work horse. What i thought about all the Kev'd up ones is, as a customer with the tradesman pulling up in it, it may give off the wrong image, charging high prices to fund the sporty van, instead of just having a standard looking van, and then using funds to support hobbies, for the likes of me it would be my triathlon, and a good tri bike which the customer wont see. however if you buisness depends on smart vehicles such as valeting then i am all for it. richie
