bmx1lew
I believe my supra has LSD. The trans code on vin ends with a B, However on my dash I have a Slip button for on and off, My friends supra doesnt have a button. His vin has an A on it which I though was for traction controlle, Does that mean he does not have LSD or Traction controlle? Lew.
JODY T
it means he doesnt have TC.. just test both cars, nail it and see how many wheels spin.. 1= no lsd 2=lsd easy obviously you will have to turn off your traction conrol
JustGav
The traction control button is completely and utterly and in no way linked to the LSD. Two completely seperate items. Don't try take it apart
bmx1lew
when testing mine in the past with the button on,if booting it on a corder I can get a drift then the slip conf light comes on, on the dash and the car pretty much straightens out from there with little effort, with it off nothing at all happens. My friends just seems to spin and spin, so Im guessing theres nothing, no traction or lsd. Does lsd still have a on and off button? Lew. Thorin
You can't turn off and on an LSD, it's a mechanical device. Edited June 13, 2008 by Thorin I miss the tag function already. (see edit history)

Chris Wilson
You can't turn off and on an LSD, it's a mechanical device. You can, but not a MKIV one. Skyline centre and V-Spec rears can be "turned on and off"
Thorin
You can, but not a MKIV one. Skyline centre and V-Spec rears can be "turned on and off" Well yes ok, but not the agricultural Supra LSD
Chris Wilson
Quite, well said there Thorin It's an HALSD by the way, a hardly any limited slip one, not a decent plate type like in Skylines.....
