Guest Terry S
it must be a rising rate type. They seem to have an issue with longevity.

Dragonball
well i dont think that mine is a rising rate type. what are the physical differences between the rising rate and the normal fuel press. reg. in the FSE brand. thanks adi I believe that they have a true 'rising rate' i.e. 1:7 'racing' type FPR and then the 'normal' one (PBV) that most use on their cars http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/pbv.htm - which gives a rising rate up to positive boost only (or just beyond) and then acts as a 1;1 as per the normal FPR therafter
Guest Terry S
terry what are the longevity issues do they just pack up all together and the car stops OK only in mine, and I believe Dude's experience, but they can leak & lose pressure
Ian C
I used to have one and it started dropping the fuel pressure badly enough to lose all engine power, and it went at lower and lower boost levels as it got worse. I think Paul Whiffin had one go on him as well because I asked him about it when mine went. -Ian

Ian C
Six going wrong in the same fashion would write it off even worth considering to me. Others may be more optimistic -Ian
