keancy
Yeah, but hand on Heart Boys, if you had been on the Road at the same time as them two could you honestly say you would just have sat back and looked and not had a go with your Supra?? I am sorry but both myself and the Hubby said we would have ended up booked as we would have chanced a go. (Sorry Resident Coppers) All though not through the Roadworks I wouldn't. Gaz6002
Speeds of 130mph and through roadworks and he got 3 points ?? Only clocked at 97mph... 3mph more and it's bye bye license. The claim of 130mph came from "witnesses" who obviously have a seriously good grasp of the speeds these cars do. Either that or 130mph was plucked out of thin air. I bet they were doing at least

Roadworks, traffic (probably quite a bit if they're weaving), I definitely would not have done. I certainly would have watched though .
keancy
You would have lost That aside I still would have had a go. I did say I wouldn't have through Roadworks but on a clear stretch, sure.
marc_p
Why did he stop, the Ferrari didn't and got away, he could of lost that 5 series in 3 seconds taken the next exit and hidden

Saying that it looks like its not a UK car so the points are probably only going to be held on the DVLA and not on his license.

Nathman
That stretch of roadworks is covered by Specs cameras aswell, so the Ferrari driver could well have been done through the post, if he had front plates of course. I am pretty sure I saw that Veyron on the M3 on Monday, nearly drove my car into the crash barriers when I saw it fly past on the other side of the Motorway! AlexM
I did say I wouldn't have through Roadworks but on a clear stretch, sure. If it was a clear stretch I wouldn't have wished them caught . Weaving, especially at high speed it something I highly disagree with (it's idiotic and dangerous), if they were on a clear stretch of motorway then it would have been another thing entirely. I guess the Ferrari felt free to run off, seeing as he had no rear numberplate .

Mind you on saying that, on our last meet, with about 6 other Supras, we were on a nice clear stretch and I was driving when this dark blue car pulled up behind me "goading me" so to speak and my Husband who was in the cheap seat kept saying floor it, floor it girl. I was to chicken because I was worried they may have been an unmarked cop car until they undertook me on the left lane . I still didn't take the bait.
