imi Posted May 27, 2008 Author Share Posted May 27, 2008 Certainly wasnt.....found it quite strange when the Govt Minister is happy to admit to quote him "rub shoulders with the devil to meet their overall objectives....." hence funding the toss pots and giving them british passports allowing them to enjoy a life in the UK. How can we fund such atrocities in the name of so called democracy? seems like we are a bunch of self righteous bastids that only want to cause trouble. Well its not just us, but most of the west who are supporting that government, however the report did mainly highlight Britain everytime government support was mentioned. At the end of the day its the choice of 2 evils.. the West dont want an unstable country like Somalia becoming another terrorists playground, breeding fighters to then come here and blow us up (thats the theory at least).. so they'd rather have the bloodshed in Somalia... They said the country had some stability under Islamic control but also point out they were habouring Al Queda.. hence the objection to the Islamic government.
