SteveL
(These are Tein RE - not RA as in the title) Used on my time attack car last year for 3 rounds plus 2 track days. Official Blurb : TEIN Type RE is like the Type RA, but with an added full-length adjustment system. Ride height is adjustable without changing the preload of spring. This is the special feature of the full-length adjustment system due to threads on the lower bracket. The Type RE has a wide range for setting the stroke and length of the shock. It is possible to set up this suspension for various road, weather, or track conditions while maintaining optimal suspension stroke. - Mono-tube design for maximum performance. - Full-length adjustment and height adjustment for separate setting of the height and spring preload. - 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together). - Inverted shock structure for more horizontal stability for strut suspension. - Available for overhaul. TEIN Type RA Coilover has been designed for advanced circuit racing and street use for experienced drivers. Tein RA Coilover system incorporates a newly designed mono-tube structure, which allows for maximum road handling and driving stability for all type of situations. Tein RA Coilover product has been developed from a huge background of TEIN motor sports activities (such as the World Rally Championship, N1 and endurance racing). * Mono-tube design for maximum performance. * Constructed of A7050 aluminum for lightweight (on certain applications). * Strut type suspension has an inverted steel shock absorber for durability. * 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together). * Ride height adjustable. * Exclusive designed pillow ball upper mount for optimize performance. * Available for overhaul. Looking for £850 shipped. (List price on these is £1200 + VAT)

SteveL
Steve, Are these controllable (height/damping) from the cockpit? Cheers, Glenn Hi Glenn, they're not EDFC compatable if thats what you mean? Manual adjustment of damping from above with an allen key and hight adjustable via the rings on the shocks. Height adjustment, once setup shouldn't really need changing. I originally wanted something electronically adjustable but found that it wasn't worth it and potentially dangerous! Trying to adjust things whilst driving isn't easy:blink:

SteveL
whats the ride like on these? will it be alright for everyday drive? What suspension do you currently have? ... just checked you garage - so the comments below should be applicable to you : I'd say on the softest setting its a little stiffer than Bilsteins with Eibach springs. Still very usable on the road as it was one of the reasons on me choosing them.
