Pete
I've got a sat dish in Rhodes but I've no idea what channels or satellites it will be able to receive. Can anyone give me any advice or know what system they use out there? I think for Astra I'd need a 4 metre dish!? ££££'s

Ric
we get 28east (astra) on a normal sky dish easy, but thats in france, u'd be looking at higher azimuth and elevation obviously maybe bigger dish, either way your pretty much on the edge of the footprint down there
Pete
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1935907&postcount=19 Who would've thought two people in the space of a day would ask similar questions? I'm well off those maps, guess I'll have to wait and see what kit I've got.
SatSport
Have a friend in Rhodes (Gennadi) that does sat. installs etc, i`m almost sure it`s a 2mtr+ for Astra there. The local provider is Nova (similar content and pricing to sky) which is off Hotbird at 13 deg. East with a small dish size.
