Driving along today on a private road and was doing 120 leptons and all of a sudden, the revs dropped and would not exceed 120 leptons. all i observed was that the revs were getting near to the read line and then all of a sudden it all 'dies' and revs drop! anybody have any idea why this might be happing? Scott Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Yeah it is meant to be on. What i mean is, it sounds like its not going into 4th for some reason. I don't know anything about autoboxes from experience, only what i have read here, but it sounds like your redlining in 3rd and when your box would change to 4th your ECU is slowing you down to stop your box from breaking or something like that.
