Daston
Out of interest guys whats your thoughts on NSX's? I am toying on getting one in the future but I am torn between that and a Viper RT/10. Both around the same price but both rather differnt cars

Kirk
I'm not realy into my muscle cars so my vote for the nsx! Slap a turbo on it and your just as quick as a viper

Gazboy
Get the Viper, Nsx far to slow. If you get a place at Vmax you'll see they are actually quite quick.
matt k
I've seen vids where the NSX can contend which much more powerful cars around a track but it depends what you want the car for.

Heres hoping:) I drove one a few years ago when i was into cosworths and it felt very slow to me but i know NA's can be deceptive.
jevansio
As you say totally different cars, I always had a soft spot for the NSX with it being a mid-engined car, love the layout.

Fingers crossed. The NSX's really do punch above their weight, both posted 161 compared to 153 of my car and a LS1 Monaro. Gazboy
Dam them under powered cars huh I like them but still cant see how they demand the prices they are. Because people appreciete them for what they are. They have a lot of respect & kudos and they aren't being barried up like no tomorow either. captainchaos
all depends on which viper you would be getting to be quite honest.
Daston
cheers for the imput guys So far my thoughts are. NSX Good handling, nice engine tone, lots of tuning parts avaliable and can tinker with it to no end. However the servicing isnt going to be cheap and if anything goes wrong with the engine then it needs to come out. Viper RT/10 8ltr V10 (need I say more) shed load of grunt and lots of tuning parts (for quite a good price as its all in $). Cheap to maintain and reliable Downside is its a left hooker and the interior is a little basic. Would also be very worried about leaving it anywhere (doors have no locks)
miko_supra
doors have no locks?!
Daston
no the viper has no locks on the doors. Or windows, you can get plastic aftermarket ones but you just unclip them from the outside reach an arm in and open the door

The Viper is massive, no windows or roof. You're better off saving longer and buying a GTS.
Daston
dont like the gts However you can get carbon roofs for the RT
Gazboy
Sounds expensive- do they not make a fiberglass one?
