Just goes to show, the ability to rev to high RPM and 3 litres displacement have triumphed over a 3.4s low end torque in this instance at least :eyebrows:

 

Perhaps the extra torque a 3.4 provides, used with a 6spd makes the initial launch easier? Once you have traction then more is more, hence yanks with 8 litre twin turbos running 6's and 7's.

Not with IRS though ;)

and pound to a penny most 6 or 7 second cars are not a street car in any sense of the word.

Fastest 'street' legal car I have seen was a TT mustang in the low 7's at 180mph ish....however it would overheat if it got stuck in a traffic jam :eyebrows:

 

Let's be honest, although I'm slightly bias :innocent: there's very very few (if any) cars that can touch a monster Supra that can also go round a corner pretty well and then still make the drive home from the races :)
