TrickTT
If you're fitting anything other than standard turbos, the pressure/volume of airflow will be different which alters the fuel requirements of the engine. So yes, you will need to remap the fuel injection at a minimum and possibly the ignition as well depending on what spec you're going for.
Guest daz 6576
is the garrett t61 a good one to go for
colsoop
Your best bet would be to get a phr or boostlogic turbo kit. Check the traders section. You will also need at a minimum bigger injectors) + something to control them. Have a search there is a detailed list of whats required.
RobSheffield
I would recommend a search before 'lobbing a turbo on' and hoping for the best.
Guest yoshi_v300
Aren't turbo kits the best way to go? Expensive, yes, but an HKS kit I presume has all the correct sized wastegate, manifold etc.

The price of the turbo is a very small part of the overall cost.
Guest yoshi_v300
Just as a side point, I know stock twins can push 450hp if pushed and your setup seems 400hp+ already. Do you really have application for the magic 500hp or is it willy waving chit? I guess the 550hp turbo kit from HKS is about right for circuit use, as anything above that will have huge lag. It's still laggy though compared to stock twins.
