where to mount turbo timer ?

I'd forgotten about this thread til just now.

 

 

As far as we are concerned, as long as the turbo timer is disclosed on your modification form then you are insured, and to be honest I've never heard of a turbo timer invalidating anyones insurance.

Hi Ollie,

So are you saying that a turbo timer (or a remote start for that matter) does not void an alarm's Thatcham CAT1 approval? Or that you guys don't mind whether that alarm has CAT1 approval?

 

Perhaps things have changed but when I got my first Supra I had a job to get a quote without a CAT1 alarm being fitted.
