  3. JAE Thursday 8th August – Sunday 11th August 2019 at Snetterton Racetrack and Norfolk showground with Toploader showcasing. Hello All, JAE dates and location has now been confirmed. The event will start at Snetterton Racetrack if you would like to attend and watch the track day or even participate!!! Details are on the JAE website or here If not, the gates at Norfolk showground open at 1500hrs. There is quite a lot on offer next year. https://jae-show.co.uk/ They have now listened to some of our feedback and requests, so now there are several ticket options for the show. Camping tickets Thursday to Sunday £50 Friday to Sunday £45 Saturday to Sunday £35 Club tickets £25 MKIVSUPRA.NET CLUB STAND TICKETS >>> CLICK HERE LINK TO PURCHASE JAE ENTRY TICKETS >>>CLICK HERE Club Plots have not been announced as yet so we haven’t purchased any. I already have the go ahead from Branners and have a budget which will increase if we get 25 members. Club tickets will be cheaper this year as we will not be going all out on a big marquee but instead will have several decent sized gazebos and tents. Electricity is apparently much cheaper at the new venue so hopefully we will be saving money by not having a marquee and having expensive electricity. I plan for club tickets to be £25. This will, as usual pay for all food and drinks at the event. Hopefully we will get a decent attendance next year, since you all have plenty of notice. There will be the Gran Turismo competition with prizes for the winner, other garden/beach games and anything else i can get my hands on or donated. - - - Updated - - -
  4. Hi everyone, Just a reminder that Toyota GB's running an event exclusively for Toyota owners at Silverstone on 16th February - it's called the Parallel Pomeroy Trophy and anyone with a road-legal Toyota can enter. Full details of the event are here: https://blog.toyota.co.uk/exclusive-silverstone-event-toyota-owners If you didn't want to enter the contest itself, but fancy a day out (a mini-meet perhaps?) to come along to support a friend or just have a look at the cars that are involved, then please feel free to join us - spectator entry is free! We know how passionate you are about your Supras, so it would be great to have a good representation from the club - please share the invite with your friends and fellow Toyota enthusiasts. Any questions, either send me a PM or email them to [email protected] and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can!
  5. 2017 WINNERS OF BEST CLUB STAND, TUG OF WAR and IKO Hello all, JAE is confirmed and our plots have been booked and paid for. So everything is a go! Our club insurer, Sky Insurance have graciously donated £200 to our beer fund again. Many thanks to Alex from Sky for sorting that. Club stand ticket only £35 SHOP NOW OPEN TO PURCHASE TICKETS >>> CLICK HERE JAE entry ticket £45 LINK TO PURCHASE JAE ENTRY TICKETS >>>CLICK HERE As before guys and gals, the sooner tickets are purchased, the more I can offer you all. There is a few changes this year. Thursday is now set up only and will require an extra ticket purchasing at a cost of £5. You may not have to cover this, I am working on something. This is something I am fighting and think is massively wrong, but I don’t expect anything to change this year. All the plots have been moved to the other side of the arena, see map below and highlighted in red is our plot. Due to budget cuts, this year I don’t have as much money from the club to play with so I am trying hard to make savings where I can, but I still promise to offer the great entertainment, food and drinks we have all loved previously, which include all food and drinks covered, games, music, fire pits, playstation and plenty of bants. Don’t forget that we won best club stand last year, tug of war and came joint first in the IKO. We could go at it again or just chill out and party, that is all up to you. Any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them. Many thanks Al http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=226714&d=1524492638

And this year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our legendary mkiv Supra! The day and overnight event the 'S Club Party' will be held at the Metropole Hotel in Wales on Saturday 14th July 2018 https://www.metropole.co.uk/ The event is primarily a social one, and all about bringing your partner for a weekend/night away in a nice hotel, and to socialise with other members of the club and their partners. A way of saying thank you for putting up with all our spending on our pride and joys, disappearing off on Dragonball and other events over the year. You also don't need to be in a Supra to attend! A lot of you who have attended S Club party before have asked me about staying the Friday night also and making a weekend of it, I listened, and have managed to secure with the hotel a better rate for a two night stay Ticket Prices Saturday Single bed room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £120.00 Saturday Double or Twin bed room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £200.00 Saturday Superior Room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £210.00 Friday & Saturday Single bed room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £180.00 Friday & Saturday Double or Twin bed room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £290.00 Friday & Saturday Superior Room, Breakfast, and food Saturday = £300.00 If you choose to buy a weekend ticket (Friday & Saturday night), the Friday includes breakfast only, so you will have to make your own arrangements for lunch and evening meal. 7. Hello guys, Not sure how many of you have seen on Facebook yesterday or today, but JAE have made a huge f**kup announcement by dropping the Thursday from the show. Bloody nightmare, but instead of reducing ticket prices, which they only did for 150 tickets, which are now sold out, the price will remain the same, for now. This all may change due to the extremely vocal angry voices by many. But at the moment, JAE tickets would be £45 for Friday 0900hrs entry through to Sunday late afternoon. Club tickets would be around £35 - £40 for food, drink, power, marquee etc etc To me this isn't great as Thursday was always a good set up day and chill before you all arrive and not have to do anything. Now it would be horrible to set up, running around getting things sorted whilst you are arriving. This isn't fair on you in my eyes. So, it was brought to my attention that another event could be a great opportunity for us. Santa Pod Raceway European Drag finals Thursday 6th September to Sunday 9th September. http://www.santapod.co.uk/eurofinals.php Now in all fairness, I wasn't excited about this until I checked the website and FU*K me sideways. Not only is there plenty of drag racing, but there is: Pit access Demos and stunts from their exhibition vehicles Stunts from Terry Grant etc Historic Aero engines Fireworks display Fun Fair Evening entertainment and bars 2 seater dragster (you have to pay extra) Helicopter rides (you have to pay extra) kids entertainment traders Bars and caterers. So all in all, there is plenty on offer. The price for all four days is £85! Fri/Sat/Sun tickets is £75. Not sure how group bookings and areas will be sorted but that is easily do able. So the big questions are, Do we still attend JAE, as I know many of us loved the show, or do we change and go for the Santa Pod weekend? This poll and thread is not the definitive answer, it is to get an idea of what you would like to do. Any comment is valid in this thread. Also I would like you opinion on what you would like the club to offer, as with JAE we had a fund from the club, and we sold club tickets to cover more things, so with the increase in tickets at Santa Pod, would you be willing to pay for club tickets to pay for our luxuries we are accustomed too.
  8. Hello all, JAE is confirmed and our plots have been booked and paid for. So everything is a go! Club stand ticket only £35 SHOP NOW OPEN TO PURCHASE TICKETS >>>CLICK HERE JAE entry ticket £45 LINK TO PURCHASE JAE ENTRY TICKETS >>>CLICK HERE The sooner people purchase the tickets, the more we can save and the more I can give back to you. I am trying to make this as cheap as possible for everyone and won’t know for certain till after the event, due to it being at a new venue this year, but I will try my hardest. I plan on giving every member a partial refund if we reach 40 members and have money left over. But this way will be able to give me costs for next year and make prices even cheaper. This year there will be some changes to the meals. Cooked lunch will not be happening, however there will be plenty of sandwich fillers, bread, rolls etc laid out so people will be able to make their own lunch. We are trying this out due to last year, many people were away for the IKO competition (which we came in second place for the first time we have entered). I have more planned in food and drinks, on site games and competitions and hopefully something to draw crowds in again and hopefully a few surprises. IF YOU HAVE A DIETARY REQUIREMENT PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE We will still require volunteers to cook and wash up. And this year, those volunteers will get half their club ticket price refunded, as it is always the same faces cooking or cleaning and it is not fair on them. A rota will be published soon. As soon as the list for all the IKO competitions have been released, I will update this thread. Any questions feel free to ask or if you have any suggestions please speak up. Many thanks Al
